A graceful and gentle mother figure to all — including Scarlet — Lilac is Indigo’s blind wife and support of the main cast. After losing her sight in a near-fatal postpartum sickness, Lilac has now retired from her work as a nurse and lives at home with her daughter and husband. Though she is used to stumbling around the house, she still struggles with her disability. She loves listening to music and sitting outside to feel the breeze, and other days she’s perfectly happy snuggling up and napping on the couch with Indigo and Beezee.
